Delivery was great but...the phone is not. The receiver will not stay on the wall base and when dialing the numbers do not always work.

OK, these days the plastic case is no longer just a shell for the tank-like Western Electric metal chassis, but the modern model is inexpensive, and it works. Maybe it won't last the twenty-plus years my previous Trimlines have, but I doubt I will have a need for a wire-line phone in twenty more years!

This is a cheap and decent phone. It serves the purpose of making and receiving calls, but the 13 number memory system is messed up. The one touch dialing system stopped working within 3 weeks or so which is disappointing. Other than that, the call quality is quite good and coupled with vonage it was much better than standard cellular reception.

All these cheap phones today have nothing in their base so when you grab the phone you pull the base off the desk or table. This is the classic ATT phone with a nice heavy base and a design that still looks great today. The black is perfect for the home office and the white for a nighstand or kitchen.
