NEW "OLD-STYLED" PHONE FOR MY PARENTS July 25, 2010 D. Santelli (USA) The black desk phone my parents bought from Ma Bell in 1960 finally quit working and I was worried that they would NOT like any new phone I would purchase as a replacement. Although this has push buttons rather than a dial, it is a nice, heavy phone and the transition went fairly well. They don't understand some of the features but the basic phone is great and, if I want to use features while I'm visiting, I can.
Great phone, great price (in comparison with other places that sell it).
Sell phone :) July 10, 2010 Gary David Bouton (Central NY) It's about half the price as Pottery Barn's similar Euro model, works completely as expected, and adds what's sort of a novelty to the living room or den. This land line, corded Crosley telephone is build solidly, just like other Crosley products I own. It has an actual bell so you can tell your mobile phone isn't ringing, push buttons that look like the traditional rotary dial, coily cord connection to the base, accepts call waiting and the volume is good.
It's just a pleasant change and an artistic throwback.
old style phone March 20, 2010 Jack Kniate (Circle Pines, MN, US) I just like the looks of the phone because it takes me back to my childhood.
purchased @ target February 13, 2010 Theresa Je (Dresden, Maine United States) Worked great, then the base fell off. It still worked untill my husband killed it trying to pick up in the middle of the night.
cool phone February 12, 2010 Aaron Ruppel (Jamison, PA USA) This is exactly what we were looking for. Old-timey ring, solid construction, I just wish it had ring tone and volume options.
