Functional September 7, 2009 Al (Kissimmee, Florida) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this phone as a wall phone, it will mount o.k., but the catch for the hand section is barely functional and at times it is difficult to hand up. Also, if you hang up this phone before the party you are connected to hangs up....the phone will ring back.
The sound is good and the dialing is o.k., but the numbers do not light up in the dark.
The Phone is functional, but I cannot recommend it.
It's OK, but I'd advise paying a little extra for something better January 9, 2009 J. Stoneking (Kansas City) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The phone is light weight, the button to hang up the phone is on the ear piece itself, NOT on the cradle, so it's VERY easy to rest the phone next to your ear with your shoulder and accidentally hang up on somebody. People may say it's only a ten dollar phone, what do you expect, but it's still poorly designed, even for the low price. Low price doesn't mean you should have to put up with a poorly designed product.
Just wanted a no frills phone but wished I looked around some more or paid a few more bucks for something a bit better.
OK, but really not worth it.
Inexpensive, works well November 11, 2008 Kevin (NY USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I needed a simple wall phone with caller ID and this phone seemed to be a good match. The phone works fine, the caller ID display is LCD and its a little hard to see unless you are look closely at the small display. What do you want for 6 bucks though?
You Get What You Pay For, but this is pretty good. October 13, 2008 G. Possert (Lancaster, CA USA) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Phone works very well... reception and transmission crisp & clear. The Caller ID is adjustable so that at maximum, it is readable. Wall Mount works fine. The BIGGEST fault, and which is NOT shown in the photos, is that the coiled cord between the hanset and the base phone is NOT removable or replaceable, and least not without significant wiring surgery inside each unit. I wanted to replace this cord with a much longer one, but I cannot do it.
cords are not easily replaceable September 4, 2008 Dan 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you aren't mechanical you will have to throw the phone out if you have to replace either cord.
