This phone looks good in the picture but it is huge. In the base are three "C" cells for backup power. No product now days uses these big batteries. It is about 3 1/2"-4" wide at the top and sticks out from the wall about 3". It may work for someone as a desk phone but not a wall phone. Unfortunately, it's features are great. I brought up the model number on the net and found out it hasn't been manufactured since around 2002.

The caller ID information can be read without getting on top of the phone or lifting the handset from the cradle. It is lighted so that at night there is no need to turn on a light. The phone will work during a power outage as it is powered by batteries. The phone is well made and has worked perfectly so far.
